I’ve always been an avid reader and been proud of amassing knowledge through different disciplines by reading broadly. I’m also one not to rise to the challenge, so when my friend questioned my dedication to read one hundred books in one year, I accepted. Little did I know that I had accepted the challenge on the eve of the busiest academic semester I’ve ever faced. So, in addition to juggling the rigors of a full college course load, I’ve been furiously reading books about leadership management, start-up strategies guides, and classic western literature. But in spite of this grueling semester, I found that dedication to reading the books provided a stabilizing force to my life, allowing to me stay sane through the course of the semester.
